Technical Or Business Questions?Ask Dave A Question!Have a question about something to do with technology, gadgets, computers, writing, or even just a business or general interest question? I'm always happy to hear from people who visit my site and will do my best to address your question in a timely fashion. However, since I get tons of questions, I can't promise that I'll answer your question or that I'll even acknowledge it. Sometimes I just delete questions when my queue overfloweth. I also often take a month or longer to get to submitted questions because of both the backlog and the fact that I have lots of other active projects and, well, a life too. :-) In fact, now that I think about it, I'll quote the disclaimer that Walt Mossberg at the Wall Street Journal uses: "Because of the volume of e-mail I receive, I can't routinely answer individual questions by e-mail, or consult on individual problems or purchasing decisions. I read all questions I receive, however, then select the best, most interesting, or most common to address on the site." Your best bet is to run a search first to see if one of the over 2500 articles here addresses your topic: No joy with those search results?I work with - and endorse - Just Answer: for a surprisingly small fee you can have one of their tech people answer your question right now. Check it out: Still here? Okay, you must really want an Ask Dave Taylor answer to your question! There is a way that you can get an answer within 48 hours of submitting your question...
Oh, and one more point: you must enter a valid email address: I will send you a verification email message that includes a link you must click before your question is actually added to the question queue! Once you've verified your email, your address is not saved for any other purpose either: I'm not going to spam you, trust me. Really.
"Dave, You are the best. I really appreciate your advice and the prompt response.
I do try to understand all the advice you provide on your weblog and am constantly amazed.
You now have my vote for weblog of the year and you deserve to win." -- Darryl C.
